Victoria Santoro
Co-Founding Partner
Victoria Santoro is the co-founder of Santoro & Gray with her longtime trial partner and friend Jess Gray. A skilled trial attorney, she handles a variety of different types of cases including rideshare litigation, automobile collisions, premises liability and product liability. Notable results include a multi-million-dollar verdict, including punitive damages, against an international hotel chain for the wrongful death drowning of a father of four. Attorney Santoro has also had several seven-figure plaintiff’s verdicts. During the height of the COVID crisis, she prevailed in the state’s first entirely remote civil jury trial. She and her co-founder Attorney Gray followed this up with a $1.65 Million dollar verdict in a slip-and-fall case tried in Plymouth County – a result nearly unheard of for this type of case.
Together with Attorney Henry, this trial team is responsible for some of the state’s most impactful and noteworthy results.
Extremely active in the Massachusetts Bar Association, Attorney Santoro currently serves as the MBA President for the 2024-25 membership year. She is the past Chair of the Young Lawyers Division, is a member of the Civil Litigation Section Council, and serves on the Oliver Wendell Holmes Scholarship Committee. Attorney Santoro co-chaired the Boston Bar Association’s Recently Elected Partners Forum from 2017-2019.
In her first year of eligibility, Attorney Santoro was voted a Super Lawyers Rising Star and has received this recognition through 2021. Since then, she has been selected for the Massachusetts Super Lawyers list. In 2014, she received an Excellence In The Law “Up & Coming Lawyer” award from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. In 2022, she was named to the Top Women of Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and announced in Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch in three practice areas: Product Liability, Personal Injury, and Medical Malpractice. She was recently recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® 2025 for work in Medical Malpractice Law (Plaintiffs) and Personal Injury Litigation (Plaintiffs) and received The WBA’s Emerging Women Leaders in the Law Award for 2024.
As her practice has developed, Tori has become an advocate for those suffering from spinal cord injuries, sexual assault survivors, and anyone struggling with their mental health. She is active with Spinal Cord Injury Boston, the Victim Rights Law Center, and both the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Massachusetts chapter of Samaritans.
Together with Attorney Gray, Attorney Santoro is also completely devoted to creating paths into litigation for women attorneys that are sustainable over the long-term course of a woman’s career.
Attorney Santoro speaks regularly at national legal conferences and local continuing legal education seminars, and has been a guest speaker and lecturer in undergraduate schools and law schools. She has been asked to speak at the swearing-in of new Massachusetts lawyers every year since 2015, which is one of the highlights of her year.
Attorney Santoro lives in Concord, Massachusetts with her son and rescue dog. She is a 2007 graduate of Wesleyan University and attended Boston College Law School.
